Resolved my issue. Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Too technical. Extract the keygen-enabled slmgr.

Replace and overwrite the original slmgr. Run Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. You can also use other utilities that allow you to view Windows Vista product key. You may need to open elevated command prompt or turn of UAC.

Wait for a a while — from a few hours to may be days for the keygen to do its work. Once the keygen finds a legit and usable Vista key, it will change the product key of Windows Vista automatically.

So he installed xp on it and erased the xp that was already on the system and now i have no cd for xp can i get one without buying a new cd key.
